Otto Binder (August 26, 1911 - October 13, 1974) was notable writers for Silver Age/Earth-1 Superman. Co-creating and contributing to ,for example, Bottle City of Kandor, Supergirl, Legion of Super-Heroes, as well as Yellow Sun and Red Sun difference being reason for either giving Superman and other Kryptonians super-powers or depower into "normal" state (before that low gravity was only officially released explanation, and per Bill Finger Kryptonites had x-ray vision even on their home planet, while before that per Jerry Siegel Race of Supermen were physically powerful even on their home planet).
Writer of All-Star Superman on Otto Binder
Before working in DC-Superman Comics Otto Binder worked on Captain Marvel comics at Fawcett Comics, which were more popular and sold more in 1950's than Action Comics or Superman, up until they were sued by DC and Captain Marvel became part of DC Comics list of properties.
