New Krypton is a newly-formed planet, created by the inhabitants of Kandor, which bears much of the civilization and wildlife from the destroyed planet of Krypton. Its capital city is Kandor, which was the original capital city of Krypton before it was capured by Brainiac.
New Krypton first appeared in the Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman episode, Big Girls Don't Fly. It first appeared in the comics during the New Krypton Storyline.
In Lois & Clark
New Krypton is a barren, rocky planet in a different solar system orbiting a Red Sun. Kryptonian society survives there, and is ruled by the Council of Elders which resides in the Floating Palace.
