New Krypton Planet

Superman approaches New Krypton.

New Krypton is the name given to various incarnations of the remnants of Krypton.

In the Superman: New Krypton storyline, New Krypton is a planet formed by the inhabitants of Kandor in Earth's solar system. It bears much of the civilization and wildlife from the destroyed planet of Krypton. Its capital city is Kandor, which was the original capital city of Krypton before it was capured by Brainiac.

The planet was destroyed by Lex Luthor, using Reactron as a bomb. Most of its inhabitants, including Alura, were killed. A fleet of Military Guild warriors, led by General Zod, survived as it was on its way to attack Earth at the time.

Lois & ClarkEdit

On Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, New Krypton is introduced in the episode, "Big Girls Don't Fly."

New Krypton is a barren, rocky planet in a different solar system orbiting a Red Sun. Kryptonian society survives there, and is ruled by the Council of Elders which resides in the Floating Palace.
