To highlight all the great content on the Superman Wiki we wanted to see if you were interested in exclusive video content from Wikia’s Video Library. We would be doing the bulk of the work by finding relevant great videos and embedding them on the wiki for you!
To draw attention to the high-quality videos Wikia currently has, we wanted to ask if we could update a part of the Community Messages, and create a rotating gallery of videos on your main page. You can see an example of what I'm talking about here: http://ninokuni.wikia.com/wiki/Ni_No_Kuni_Wiki

Always wanted to make a video list of every time a character says a cool quote? Wish you could capture every awesome fight scene in your favorite movie? Want the exact clip that perfectly fits with the content of your article page? Now you can. We have recently signed a partnership with AnyClips, which will let us take any scene from a selected list of movie titles and turn them into licensed videos you can use on your wiki.
How does it work? Easy. Visit the Wikia Video Library and fill out our clip request form here. Select from the dropdown in the form to see a list of available movie titles and describe which scene you’d like us to clip for you. Once we create the clip, we will let you know on your talk page or message wall so you can add the video to your wiki.
The clip will live on video.wikia so that in the true spirit of collaborative effort, the video clip you’ve requested will be available for all of Wikia to use.

Hey there Scott! I consider myself a fairly good friend of User:Rod12 (DC Wiki editor) as we often work together on Merlin Wiki. I have longed expressed great interest in becoming an admin and bureaucrat on Smallville Wiki, to which I saw that you had the powers. I left a message on your talk page on the wiki however I have not been replied to.
I have a wide ambition of becoming an admin and a bureaucrat on this wiki. Unfortunately, I am ineligible to adopt. There is an admin who is rarely active on this wiki and it can open up time for vandals to arrive during his absences, and he is not a Bureaucrat and is unable to grant me this power. I know I have a very low edit count but I can prove that I am worthy of this title by my work on Merlin Wiki, and I also created a request blog of this sometime ago, to which I recieved basically positive responses. I feel that I can take this wiki to it's next level by upgrading it's wiki features.
I am a great fan of the TV Show, Smallville, which has in fact, given me potential to like the rest of the DC Universe. Maybe one day I could become a big Superman fan and soar high on this wiki...?
Anyway you're my only hope for this as are the only active bureaucrat on Smallville Wiki.

Hi Gwaine! I haven't been active on Smallville Wiki for some time. I do all my Superman-related wiki'ing here. It looks like Kanamekun is the most recently active admin over there. Have you talked to her/him?
Yes, I have. I actually haven't revieved a reply on Kanamekun's talk page. But he did leave a comment on my request blog post and he seemed rather pleased if I became an admin as long as I make edits to boost my public awareness which I will definitely will once the new age is formed on that wiki!
My goals on Smallville wiki aren't merely to boost myself as a contributor, more like modernising the wiki with all Wikia's new features plus some CSS and JS. However if I have to contribute more to become an admin then so be it.
Okay! It's been 3 weeks of working hard! I am now on 4500 edits. Don't think I did this just to satisfy you or anything, I did it as being a good contributor is just as good as being an admin on many occasions! Anyway, you don't have to make me an admin, but it would be a good idea to make Kanamekun a Bureaucrat so he can decide.
The wheelchair-bound mermaid "wife" isn't Lori Lemaris...it's another character named "Mooki of Varda".The whole weird story with scans is on Siskoid's Blog of Geekery. Also, the mer-son is called "Nipper" and he's actually the son Superman Robot X-3. (As I said, the story is a bit weird).
Over the past couple of months we have been developing and testing a related videos module on some wikis like Harry Potter, Hunger Games and Halo. During these tests we have been tracking the number of video plays as well as collecting community feedback. We are now ready to expand the rollout to the rest of the site, and we are starting with wikis that there are the most videos for - which includes your wiki!
The videos we have are fully licensed from video partners we have developed relationships with. They include videos such as trailers, famous movie/TV clips, walkthroughs and behind the scenes interviews. We currently have video content from Screenplay and are working to create partnerships with other vendors, including Hulu, soon. You can see the video content we have by visiting the video wiki and either searching by keyword or checking out the various categories.
When the module is enabled, it will already be pre-populated with videos related to your topic. We will try to pick the best videos from the video wiki, but understand that the community’s ability to adjust the content is very important, so you will have access to both adding and removing videos within the module. This can include adding videos already on your wiki or adding new ones from the video wiki.
Our high-quality videos will compliment the fantastic articles and photos on your wiki. On 5 of the test wikis the videos in the modules have already had over 10,000 views. This is an exciting number and we hope as we make more videos available these numbers will increase. We are in the process of pre-populating the related videos module for your wiki, and expect the module to go live within the next couple of weeks, so please let me if you have any any questions or concerns.
Hi Scott. I am an admin on the DC wiki. Would you like to have Action Comics Volume 1 on this site? I can use the Export function to transfer those pages onto this wiki if you would like.
Hi, sorry I didn't leave an edit note. As you can see, the new addition to the article lacks proper grammar and punctuation, and the formatting with the image makes the page look messy. After carefully considering the changes, the additions aren't necessary, so I rolled it back rather than taking the time and effort to improve upon the additions. Please let me know if you have questions about wiki editing. For the most part, proper use of grammar and making the pictures fit on the page should be self-explanatory. Thanks!
In watching the 1952 Adventures of Superman, I realized that the baby Kal-El goes uncredited. In checking the Superman wiki, it does not see to have the identity of this baby mentioned anywhere. Do you know the name of the actor who played this role? Any assistance you can lend me in this matter would be greatly appreciated and would help to make your wiki more complete. Thank you.
