The Legion of Superheroes is an interplanetary superhero crimefighting organization operating in the 31st Century, inspired at least partially by the legend of Superman. Their founding members are Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad, and Saturn Girl, but they have since vastly increased their membership to include vast numbers from varying worlds. Other notable members include Superman and Supergirl, both plucked from the past; Brainiac 5 (a descendant of Brainiac), Mon-El (a Daxamite), and many more.
