Teri Hatcher (born December 8, 1964 in Palo Alto, California) is an American actress, writer, presenter, singer, and former NFL cheerleader. She shot to fame portraying Lois Lane in Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from 1993 to 1997. She's also starred in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), Desperate Housewives (2004-2012), and Coraline (2009).
She's also portrayed Ella Lane on Smallville and the villainous Daxamite Queen Rhea on the second season of Supergirl.
