Swear to God, This Time We're Not Kidding

In a desperate attempt to stop Lord Nor, Superman clashes with his adversary in a duel, while Lois tries to stop a renegade general from using krpytonite against Nor.

Clark is charged with high treason by Lord Nor and is taken to court with the Kryptonian Council. Nor is able to trick the council that Kal-El plans to betray New Krypton by abandoning the people, commit adultery by marrying Lois (an earthling), and that Nor gets the throne by marrying Zara. The penalty for this is death. Soon after Kal-El is led off, Nor is informed that Metropolis refuses to surrender. This causes him to reveal his true intentions and motives before Lord Trey, the chief prosecutor, to the latter's chagrin. Nor than orders to destroy Metropolis. However, Ching comes to Trey and points out an escape clause - an old and obscure, but still valid law allowing nobles to settle their disputes through a duel. Kal-El is released (the verdict rendered illegal by the prrosecution's failure to inform him of the right for duel), and Nor agrees to the duel. While Kal-El battles Nor in the streets of Metropolis, Lois learns that a US. Colonel has removed Kryptonite from the vaults of S.T.A.R Labs and plans to use it on Nor with Superman as bait. Lois goes and warns Clark about the Kryptonite gas. Determined, Clark beats Nor. However, it turns out Nor cheated by having backup. As his soldiers use heat vision on Clark, the kryptonite gas is fired killing Nor and his men; however, their bodies absorb most of the gas due to Kal El being unconscious, and Clark survives. Zara eventually marries Ching and they rule over New Krypton while Clark stays on Earth and plans to marry Lois.
